Isagenix Press Release

Isagenix Announces Products, Technology and Tools for Expansion and Growth

CFO/COO Jim Pierce fired up Celebration attendees when he shared the vision to become a billion-dollar company.

Chandler, Ariz. - Aug. 28, 2006 - Isagenix Associates sat riveted to their seats during Isagenix's Celebration 2006 Aug. 21 general session as Isagenix revealed the new IsaCal calcium drink product, reformulated IsaLean Shakes, new initiative to certify products Kosher, new marketing materials, and new Web tools. Founder and Formulator John Anderson, Co-Founders Jim and Kathy Coover, COO/CFO Jim Pierce, Vice President of Marketing Rick Despain and SEP Networks CEO Brian Mitchell all spoke.

As Anderson introduced his new strawberry-flavored IsaCal calcium drink, he said: "It's a delicious way to get the calcium you need for healthy bones and optimal health. It's formulated for easy absorption and maximum bioavailability."

Consultant and Certified Nutritionist Magdalena Fung of Toronto, Canada was one of many Associates excited about the new product.

"The ideal calcium supplement is in liquid form," Fung said. "As a liquid it can bypass digestion and the body doesn't have to provide the enzymes [that many people are deficient in] to convert it to the bioavailable form. And, it tastes great!"

Anderson also discussed the newly reformulated IsaLean Shakes, and how they now have more protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals, and are gluten free.

Anderson made it clear that Associates are very important to him. "This isn't my company. This isn't Jim and Kathy's company. This is your company. You drive this business. It's easy to let a company grow so much you lose your initial focus of being a family. I never want to see this company turn into a machine."

Kathy followed up by proudly announcing Isagenix would be obtaining Kosher certification in the near future for many more Isagenix products. Isamune, IsaLean Bars and SlimCakes are already certified Kosher.

"Kosher means pure," commented Gary Benton, a 2-Star Golden Circle Crystal Executive. "Isagenix went through a vigorous and expensive process for Kosher certification. This is for us to share enthusiastically with everyone, not just our Jewish customers. This benefits everyone."

The Coovers then shared their vision for anticipated growth.

"We're at $100 million now," said Jim. "We project we'll be at $120 million by the end of the year and $200 million in a very short time. We will be a multi-billion dollar company in the foreseeable future."

"How many lives will we transform as we grow to a multi-billion dollar company?" interjected Kathy. "We are making an impact on world health and will continue to do so as we grow-both at home and internationally."

New Marketing Tools

During Despain's presentation, Associates were briefed on the myriad of marketing tools his department has created to support Associates.

"The marketing department has only one goal," said Despain. "That goal is to create tools to help you become more successful. Good marketing means good branding. We are creating a unity of voices so we all sing the same Isagenix song."

Despain displayed how Isagenix's new look was uniform throughout all the new marketing materials, including the Isagenix Web site, CDs and product labeling.

According to Despain, marketing materials and the Associate Websites are in the process of becoming multi-lingual to meet the needs of all customers.

$10 Million IT Investment

Pierce and Mitchell concluded the session by presenting the considerable upgrades being done to Associate Websites, Associate Back Office, and the addition of the new IsaLeads lead generator and contact manager tool.

Isagenix COO/CFO Jim Pierce said Isagenix was preparing for the future. "We're investing $10 million on new systems to support you over the next two years," said Pierce. "Why are we doing this? We're doing this to give you a technical baseline to go forward."

Mitchell said the upgraded Associate Back Office is designed to be user-friendly and to present useful information quickly to Isagenix Associates. "It has a new look and feel, and it's built with a portal design," said Mitchell, who added it "does everything you could ever want if you just laid there in bed and thought, 'Hmm. What would I want the Back Office to do?'"

Pierce said, "With this next-generation Back Office, we'll have the systems in place for international operations."
